Day 1: Year 2024 Lifestyle Audit

Reflect on your past wins and identify areas for growth in your lifestyle, fitness, and nutrition habits. Celebrate positive changes you’ve made —whether it’s sticking to a workout routine or eating more protein. Next, reflect on  the behaviors that no longer serve you.

Days 2 - 5: Answer the following questions

Day 2: Self-Awareness & Motivation

What does my most confident, successful, and best self look like? What outfits or styles make me feel amazing?

What qualities or habits do I admire in others who have achieved similar goals? 

How will achieving my goals improve my daily life, relationships, and career?



Day 3: Nutrition

What meals or snacks make me feel energized and happy after I eat them?

What foods can I prioritize to follow the 90/10 rule? The 90/10 rule involves eating healthy foods 90% of the time and enjoying "fun food" the remaining 10% so you don’t feel restrictive!

How can I cultivate a healthier relationship with food and my body?



Day 4: Fitness

What types of movement or exercise do I genuinely enjoy?

How can I make fitness a fun and fulfilling part of my lifestyle?



Day 5: Lifestyle

What hobbies, activities, adventures, or trips do I want to do that align with a healthy lifestyle?

What kind of environment (home, community, travel, friends) best support my goals?



Day 6: Identify Goals & Themes

According to Forbes, people who write down goals in great detail are 1.2x - 1.4x more likely to successfully achieve their dreams (1). Review your answers from Day 2 - 5 and look for similar themes or patterns. Group them into 4 main categories to develop your unique WHY! 

Or

Type answers into ChatGPT and ask to, “Summarize into four main categories” to identify your WHY.



Day 7: Create SMART Goals

SMART goals are powerful for transformation especially when you write them down. A Harvard Business Study reported 3% of MBA graduates who wrote down their goals earned 10x more than the the other 97%, just 10 years after graduation (2).

Translate each of your four categories into goals and fill out the SMART Goals template below. The practice of writing your ideas clarifies and engrains them.  I also recommend adding more time than you think. According to author, Kristi DePaul the primary reason we don’t meet our goals is that we overestimate how much we can get done and underestimate external factors. She recommends increasing your estimated deadline by 25% to overcome this fallacy (3).

You did it, (but the real work has really just begun)!


Focus on continuation, not improvement. Building better habits takes time and is not an all-or-nothing process. I recommend checking in monthly to reflect and adjust. It takes approximately 66 days for a new habit to become routine so celebrate the small wins and don’t dwell on past failures (4). 

The truth about setting goals is that we are likely to fail, but keep going. Momentum is more important than the mountain (or goal itself). All of the little things you do add up to become the person you aspire to be.
